This is a great show of rocks, gems, minerals and jewelry. This will be
at the Orangevale Community Center, 6826 Hazel Ave, Orangevale,
CA. Times for this event Sat. 10am-6pm, Sun. 10am-5pm. Check

Gem Faire
October 9-11
Although it is called Gem Faire, it's really more of a bead faire, featuring more
than 50 vendors selling bead strands of every shape, size and description.
Finished jewelry, jewelry findings, display materials, ready-made chains, bulk
chain, etc. are also for sale. There are usually a few vendors selling mineral
specimens and cabochons but no rough rock.
The Faire's hours are: Friday, 12-7pm; Saturday, 10am-6pm; Sunday,
10am-5pm. There are special wholesale ONLY hours on Friday from 10am-
12pm. SMS will have an information table at this event in the Scottish Rite
Center, 6151 H St., Sacramento. So ... stop by our table and say "hi" to your
fellow SMS members/friends!
27th Annual Rock and Gems Show
October 16-17 Sat/Sun
This show is put on by the El Dorado County Mineral & Gem Society.
There will be rocks, minerals, gemstones, specimens, display cases,
and jewelry at this show. Times for this show are: 10am-5pm both
days. Location: 100 Placerville Drive, in Placerville, CA. Check them

68th Annual Golden Harvest Of Gems, Minerals and Jewelry
Show
November 12-14 Fri/Sat/Sun
This is the show put on by the Sacramento Mineral Society at the
Scottish Rite Center in Sacramento. The Address of this location is
6151 H St. Sacramento, CA, across from the front entrance of Sac
State University. The hours are 10am-6pm Fri./Sat. and 10am-5pm
Sun. There will be rocks, lapidary tools and supplies, gems, jewelry
and jewelry making supplies. For those wanting to learn we will have
classes and demonstrators teaching many different types of jewelry
making techniques. For the little ones we also have the Rocky Kids
Center, with a scavenger hunt, dino rubs, gem digging, beading, and
much more. Food will be in the Rock Café, such as pulled pork
sandwiches, the awesome baked potato, chili, pie and much more.
Come on by and have a blast.
